CAIRNS

DANIEL “SEXY LEGS” COOK fought a bloody battle on the weekend. After 5 rounds for Full Thai Rules, Daniel won via split points decision!

“Kru Dan was next and last on the card with the fight we’d all been waiting for. We saw a five round war with blood drawn on both sides. Lots of elbows and knees, heavy kicks and teeps to the face which funnily enough was a feature of both boys fights but was never drilled back home in the gym. Saw Dans fight come to a split points decision win.” ~ Oceanic Martial Arts Academy

A strong come back for KAI “THE KAISER” VOGEL! Kai dominated the fight from the outset, getting an early finish. After 4 years out of the ring and being his first fight as an adult, The Kaiser showed not a hit of ring rust coming home with a second round TKO win! What a great performance!!

“Kai was first out and showed everyone straight away what he came to do with sweeps, well placed kicks and heavy pressure in the clinch. It proved too much for his opponent who refused to come out of the corner for the 3rd round.” ~ Oceanic Martial Arts Academy

MELBOURNE

ERIN CARTER had an incredible opportunity to fight for a Victorian Amateur Title yesterday. Erin managed to stick to the game plan and stay composed, after 5 hard fought rounds, Erin came away with a solid win! Great work Erin!

“@notoriousez was main event in a 5 round war, and listened to every instruction and displayed a classy, smart and composed fight against a very tough opponent and claimed the Victorian amatuer title!! Super proud” ~ WFC Chirnside

JOSH THOMAS also featured in Melbourne yesturday. Unfortunately the fight ended early for Josh, but he came away with some more experience under his belt.

“@josh.thomas118 showed amazing heart and grit tonight fighting a very skilled fighter…unfortunately got an 8 count from some nicely timed knees, but was wrapped with what we got out of this, and what we need to improve on” ~ WFC Chirnside
