Member Results 11-12 March 2017

NRF was busy supporting three shows over the weekend with quite a few of our NRF members getting wins and we have us some new State and Australian champions!

In Beaudesert, the Siam Cup 19 had some fantastic results from our junior members and over on the eastern side of Brisbane was Rumble at the Ridge XXI.  Sydney had the Siam 2 Sydney show. Read on to see how our members went.

Emily “The Pitbull” Curtain scored herself the Siam Cup Junior Australian Title

Damian “The Hurricane” Hall missed out on the Australian title he unfortunately sustained a cut to his eye, which stopped the fight in the second round. All reports say he is recovering ok.

Firstly I would like to thank Jamie Tozeland for giving Damian a shot at the Australian Title on Siam Cup and having us on such a great event. (And to his) His opponent Josh Torrens for putting up a great fight… Everyone that sent concerned messages thank you, Damian is all good. We are proud of Damian’s performance, he will learn from this and move forward’ ~ Jim Hall (Trainer)

Josh “The Boss”  King  had a well deserved win for this talented and technical young fighter! He is sporting his first belt claiming him a Siam Queensland Champion!

Rumble at the Ridge XXI

Josie “Bubbles” Rossallen fought a non stop action packed fight for the WKBF Junior QLD Paperweight Title and after 5 hard rounds she unfortunately didn’t come away with the win but had the crowd going crazy the whole fight! Well done Josie!

No win for Josie tonight but she fought so well and so hard for 5 x 2 minute rounds. So proud of her and how well she has trained to get here.” ~Josie’s Parents

 

Kane Baigent is now the new WKBF QLD 72kg Light Middleweight Champion winning on SPD. A great fight b y Kane!

Brooke “Psyco” Cooper came out with a fantastic win, crowing her the new WKBF QLD 60kg Lightweight title holder. A solid fight by Brooke for a much deserved win.

Siam 2 Sydney

Lindon “Lajistik” Wotton fought on Siam 2 Sydney taking out the win via stoppage with some solid knees to the stomach. Very tidy work Lindon.
