Over at Roots 1 Exodus, Tamika “Tenacious” Di Cesare gave it her all to fight for the WMC state title. After a very exciting and tough fight, she unfortunately didn’t get the win.

Unfortunately the clinch game wasn’t my strongest point last night and I lost, but never the less, I’ve learnt a few things to work on to pump through all the fights I can next year. Was a good fight, hands off to Pam with that clinch. ?? My striking was strong, brought out the elbows but didn’t seem to work the clinch. No excuses though. “~ Tamika Di Casare

Congrats to Beck Boyd, who is the new WKA AUSTRALIAN CHAMPION over the weekend at the State of a Warrior show.

In some unfortunate news however, sadly Jo Florence didn’t get to battle it out on Next generation for the MASA FTR State Title against Danny “Lil Reaper” Roberts

Roberts unfortunately was out of this weekends main event title fight with a dislocated shoulder and torn bicep tendon. He is absolutely devastated & gutted and focusing his efforts on rehabilitation to achieve that title.

Florence had another opponent matched up but on the night this also fell through due to his opponent being on medical suspension. Joe found it a very disappointing but he’s keen to get another shot eventually.
