NEW SOUTH WALES

In northern beaches of NSW, Double Dragon’s Hugh O’Donnell was ready for his 14th fight, this time battling it out for the WKBF Commonwealth title in a five round, full Thai rules Super Welter 68kg bout. It unfortunately didn’t go his way to get the win.

No luck tonight. Absolute 5 round banger, fun fight. Thanks Cruz and 8 limbs for the dance looking forward to a rematch down the track. Thank you to my team, my family and my lady for everything, its been a huge year sorry I couldn’t get this one. Will be back in the gym straight away patch some things up and keep growing ” -Hugh O’Donnell

QUEENSLAND

Proudly supported by NRF, the Siam Junior Muay Thai Cup show was on over the weekend in Loganholme. With a full fight card bursting at the seams, two of our NRF juniors featured on the show doing their absolute best- showing guts and determination.

Eli Radley fought all three rounds in a tough 62kg bout, unfortunately walking away without the result he hoped for.

Josh “The Boss” King took on a late notice fight (on just a couple of days notice) and the Boss dominated in all 3 rounds, winning by UPD! What a legend!!

Aussie Brooke Farrell, who is currently based in Thailand, took on a fight in Chiang Mai, coming away the win. Well done!
