We were proud to support a huge new show in Queensland on the weekend Undisputed – Pro Thaiboxing Show. We had a bunch of our NRF fighters featured on the card with some cracker results! Also in North Queensland another NRF Fight Match Up for Kiri Bradley.

Check out the photos/videos and results below from our members.

Awesome efforts- we are proud of you all!

QUEENSLAND

Kiri Bradley backed in up for a third time in just a short couple of months in her home town of Cairns. Yet another proud NRF Match up and this legend once again took on a tough fight, not coming away with the win, but Kiri certainly showed the punters what she’s made of! Great job Kiri!

What a cracker of a night. Split decision loss…- but I had the best night and I’m so stoked to have shared the ring with [my opponent] . ” – Kiri Bradley

NRF proudly supported the Undisputed Pro-Thaiboxing show in Brisbane’s South over the weekend.

From all reports by those who attending, this was a fantastic show featuring

a great line up of exciting fight matches ups and entertainment plus.

For our members the night panned out like this..

Defending her WMC Aussie Lightweight title, Leonie “Sitshoothon” Macks went head to head with Chels “Hammer” Hackett. After a 1st round KO, Chels is now the WMC Australian Lightweight 61.24kg Title Champ, this follows her win just a month earlier, where Hammer also nabbed the WKBF Aussie title. Well done Chels. Leonie has pulled up fine and we wish her a speedy return to the ring.

Still on an absolute high from last night!! As much as I would have liked to fight a little longer… I won by first round KO in 1:59 and became the NEW WMC Australian Champion!” -Chels “Hammer” Hackett

Chelsea the new champ

Unfortunately Leonie lost her title defence last night by 1st round stoppage. It wasn’t her night and thankfully she hasn’t sustained any major injuries. Thanks to those who were concerned and sent their warm messages ?.” – Sitshoothon Muaythai Boxing Academy.

Benji Wright tells us he had a fun fight and was happy being back in the ring after a long stint in a moon boot, from an injury he sustained earlier in the year, and what a way to get back in there by bringing home the W. Congrats Benji!

… I wanted to come back to be a strong and technical fighter. This is exactly the way it went last night and got me the unanimous decision.” -Benji Wright

Benji takes the win

Northern Territory’s Le Tan came down to QLD to fight and that’s exactly what he did, this gun went the distance in a 3×3 rounder but unfortunately didn’t get the win.

Last night took another lesson learn didnt win my first pro debut but sitting back it was a win being part of huge production. Met some living legends and heroes of the sport !!! what a experience.!!” – Le Tan

The Iron Jaw, Kimmy Law(who is now based in NSW) came back to home soil in QLD and took out the win. Well done Kimmy, we are stoked to see you back in the ring doing what you do best!

What a awesome night! … I won by unanimous decision, back in my home town. It was great to catch up with everyone … I’ve been so overwhelmed with all the support that I have received over the past few days.” -Kimmy Law

Win for Kim

VICTORIA

Off the back of a recent win a month ago, Tamika “Tenacious” Di Cesare fought in Melbourne for the IKBF East Coast title and came away with a draw. But she’s keen to get back at it!

Well what can I say.. came home with a draw last night. It’s not the best result, and I will make no excuses. All I can say, It sparks a fire to train a harder and make no excuses, therefor I will produce the results I want.” -Tamika “Tenacious” Di Cesare

THAILAND

Northern Territory’s Roger Augusto headed over to Patong to take a fight against the stadium champ on the weekend. Unfortunately the fight was stopped due to an injury at the end of round 2 to Roger’s shoulder. Wishing you a speedy recovery Roger!
