“What an awesome achievement Jack Kearney is awarded the IFMA male rising star award” – Muaythai Australia

Not only did Jack “The Tank” Kearney come away with the Gold, he also won the IFMA Rising Star award out of every fighting at the entire event! What a prestigious accolade to receive! Good work Jack!

Brooke “Psycho” Cooper also peformed at a high level, winning her first 2 bouths via early Stoppage!

I can’t believe it another win tonight against Russia via ref stoppage in the second round! So on to fight Ukraine (who also won tonight via second round stoppage) for Gold on Wednesday? hopefully I can bring it home” – Brooke Cooper

Brooke’s third fight saw her come away with a Silver Medal for Australia…

Thankyou thankyou thankyou to all the overwhelming support I have gotten from absolutely everyone! I’m afraid no gold but, today definitely was not my day I fell into the head hunting trap instead of fighting clean and fast instead I fought messy and gassed, sorry. But this has been a phenomenal opportunity to fight and train with the best of the best and I am forever grateful to all those who got me here. Especially my mum for letting me go for all my dreams and my coach, Michael Reberger for making my dreams reality. To all my friends and family back home there are way too many to name but love to you all.” – Brooke Cooper
